Thanks to everyone who came down to @teagreenevents today. It was a great day, such a beautiful fair.

After a week of stress, arguments with our neighbour, hardly any sleep, worrying about money and eating really badly it was amazing to have so many friends pop by to cheer me up, I was especially touched by the visit from my beautiful 85 year old neighbour Catherine.

Thank you for your purchases, compliments and support and sorry for being so emotional, I’m exceptionally tired but so very happy/ maybe a tad delirious 😆😆.

The fair is back on tomorrow, I won’t be there but will be back in December. Pop down tomorrow and check out the amazing lineup, it’s definitely worth the visit. ❤️❤️

After a week of intrusive, stressful and tiring house repairs that we don’t even know how we’re going to pay for🙈, being ill probably due to said house repair stress and getting my double jab today, I’ve been pretty awful at managing my Instagram but I’m excited to say that something amazing is happening and I will be at the @teagreenevents tomorrow. I love my business as a contrast to my daily corporate life and I’m really glad you do too, it’s been amazing to see it grow this year.

That’s me back on the #TeaGreenTakeover to tell you about my products and how I make them. I’ve pictured a selection of necklaces, brooches and earrings that I’ll have with me at the events.

I start off layering photographs, vintage papers, letraset and other interesting textures, sometimes in my computer sometimes in real life to get a pattern base. Everything is super bright and graphic. I use my layers of texture to create my final digital collages and then print them onto wooden jewellery, greetings cards, textiles and homeware.

Hello it’s @trudy_shillum on the #TeaGreenTakeover today.

My name is Trudy and I’m a graphic designer. Here I am hiding behind one of my giant cushions.

I work full time for the BBC as a television designer and run Trudy_Shillum in my free time. My business is inspired by my love for the Tomato/David Carson/ Raygun 90s grungy graphic design that I grew up with at art college.

I started this business just over a year ago and it has been an amazing journey so far. I work from my basement studio in Charing Cross, mostly work at weekends when I’m not in the office and my daughter is at dance class.

My work is very bright, colourful and graphic and I transfer my prints onto a range of textiles, wooden jewellery, greetings cards and homewares.

I am from Whitstable, Kent originally but have lived in Glasgow for over 20 years.
