Nineteen
It’s been a strange old year of immense highs and immense lows- just life really I guess.
We’ve lost our beloved Gran very suddenly and have taken in her cat Puffy who is a darling and is much loved (and much fed) by all neighbours in our block of flats. We’ve said goodbye to her, her house, some of her possessions and our connection to Largs.
We’ve been on the best holiday and had the best times in the sun with my best buds discovering new music, letting the kids run free and generally having the time of our lives with some of the most important people in my life.
Done up and (nearly) sold our house and bought a new one.
Have worked hard at my Etsy shop to make it as successful as I’ve always wanted it to be and I have been so overwhelmed and am so thankful to all of you for the volume of orders. Due to the fact that it nearly killed me this Xmas keeping up with with them all, I’m about to move out of the studio and set up at home.
Real work has been very busy with a new channel launch and election but despite the many stressful moments, my exceptionally talented work buddies have excelled themselves in their achievements this year and I am very proud of them.
I’ve started reading again, been to loads of concerts, discovered new favourite bands (Django Django mostly) and have actually finished some knitting projects.
As the year closes to an end I’d like to say a big thanks to all who have bought from Trudy’s Store this year, sorry to my friends and family for not seeing as much of you as I should have (that’s about to change next year, honest).
My greatest hope is that everyone has a great Hogmanay, a prosperous and happy 2020 and a new year full of kindness – to and from others. Lots of love Tx
